Must have been a slow week in Rock Hill, MO. This week's crime report was fairly short, and there was only one "creative" entry:
- Officers on patrol in the 300 block of Madison Avenue Aug. 31 observed a local drug dealer pushing his wares and swooped in for the capture. The young capitalist was caught with heroin, crack cocaine, and barbiturates, which gives a new meaning to one-stop shopping, police report.
I've had some questions about whether this is an actual crime report. Rest assured, it is - here is the link.
I saw the Rock Hill finance director at our monthly Government Finance Officers Association meeting (as I've mentioned before, a non-stop, alcohol-fueled party), and I meant to ask her if she knows the background on this, but she left before I could ask. I'll have to try and catch her next time.
