Adam's TV Debut

Adam made his commercial TV debut this week in a political ad for our neighbor, Eric Schmitt, who is running for Missouri State Senate. Don't blink, or you might miss him!

Uh, Adam? What's your problem?

We had some pictures of the kids taken by our official staff photographer, Jodi, only to find out that Adam was apparently angry.

Flipping the bird, Adam?

Was that really necessary?

Way go to.

Soccer with Julia!

Last week, it was "Bring a Friend" to soccer week. Julia went with Adam and enjoyed soccer so much that she is now signed up for next session! There's nothing cuter than a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds running around after their soccer balls! Thanks Julia for coming with us to soccer!

Glendale Firehouse Run

Today we both ran the 5-mile Firehouse Run in Glendale. It was a perfect day for a run, and we both set personal best times (Paul in 43:50 and Amy in 49:39). Next up is the Pumpkin Plod on Thanksgiving Day.

Our neighbor, Jean, watched the kids for us. Emily had fun with some of her friends down at the finish line, and Adam enjoyed looking at the firetrucks and police cars.

Now comes the best part - the post-race lunch at Bar Louie. We were planning to go there for lunch today, and Amy won a $25 gift card there as an attendance prize - perfect!

Football! and Emily's photography!

This weekend, Uncle Joe and Cousin Jon taught Emily how to throw and catch a football. She and Dad practiced tonight after we got back from the park.

A few pictures Emily took.

Kreidler Visit!

We had a visit from the Illinois Kreidlers this weekend - minus Lucie (who was working in Atlanta) and Jessie (who was performing with her high school marching band at the Edward Jones Dome here in St. Louis).

After Emily came home from her Girl Scout camp out on Saturday morning, we headed to the World Famous St. Louis Zoo for a few hours. The weather was BEAUTIFUL, the animals frisky, and the kids well behaved. A good time was had by all!

This is the baby Grevy Zebra that is a few months old. You can see that his stripes have yet to turn completely black! This giraffe was right up by the viewing area eating leaves out of people's hands. The baby giraffe born last June. Silverback gorillas were out in force and very active! I think these guys were the favorites of most of us!Emily took this of a Silverback who was throwing around this empty plastic barrel. He stopped and sat with it for awhile and ended up playing it like a drum!Becky (aka Beba), Jon and Emily.Adam and Uncle Joe

Happy Birthdy Paul!

Happy Birthday to a great dad, husband and best friend!

We're so proud of you and all you've accomplished this past year. Emily, Adam and I hope you have a wonderful birthday and birthday week. We love you and are looking forward to you coming home tonight to celebrate!

Pumpkins!

After the North Glendale Fun Fair, the St. Louis Kreidlers headed down to Kirkwood to lunch at Bar Louie. (Yummm... tater tots!!!)

After lunch, we headed over to the Kirkwood Farmers Market where the kids enjoyed picking out this years pumpkins! Adam picked out a Knuckle Pumpkin while Em, Dad and Mom picked out standard pumpkins! The kids also enjoyed the kid activities at the Farmers Market including the Needle in the Haystack (where kids look for painted tongue depressors buried in hay) and riding tractors.
