After an up and down spring, we had our first great spring/summer weekend. Clear, sunny skies, and 80 degrees. The kids enjoyed playing outside and riding bikes, and we enjoyed having no activities planned for once so that we could just hang out and enjoy our family.

The Banachs came to visit this weekend to introduce Baby Conrad to Springfield. I believe Jason was confused when I asked him to "hold the baby" for a picture...

A Visit from the Mayor

Springfield Mayor Tim Davlin spent an hour with Emily's first grade class today. He read a book to the class, answered lots of questions, had pizza, and he even danced the hokey pokey (again, what if that really IS what it's all about!) and the chicken dance.

All of the kids were very excited about his visit, and enjoyed it very much!
