What a difference a few months make.
These last few months have truly been transformational for both of us. Today, we ran a 5K at the St. Louis Zoo. It's a short, 3.1 mile run, but it's a start, and certainly something I couldn't have done a few short months ago! Amy ran in 36 minutes, and I ran in 32 - both better than we thought we would do.
The next step is the 5 mile Glendale Firehouse Run in October (yes, Amy - we're doing it) and the Pumpkin Plod on Thanksgiving morning (just short of a 10K).

Looking good, you two.
WOW! You two look great. Paul be careful next time you play piano. Your fingers might slip between the keys.
You guys are inspiring! Great job!
You guys are so svelte! Karen and I love to run (OK. Karen a little more than I do), and I know, especially for me, that having even a 5K run as a goal really helps me stay on course.
As stated above, you are both an inspiration. Karen and I have made a date to run tonight, even if there is a torrential downpour and cows are flying past.
Paul and Amy,
Congrats on the 5K. It is great hearing that you have future races planned. Phil W. and Brad V. have also joined the running ranks this Spring. Brad is going to run a couple of 5Ks as well.
