I love fall. I love decorating the house, the crisp cool air, the changing leaves, and college football! This year will be different since we are in a new city, and as a result, will establish new traditions. We won't be making our annual outing to Kristin's Pumpkin Patch in Springfield, which we had done since Emily was 2, to get our pumpkins. This year, we'll be going to Eckerts in Bellville, Illinois. What is ironic is that some friends in Springfield (the Turners) have a tradition of going to Eckerts to pick out pumkins!
This coming weekend, Janet and her girls will be here and we have tentative plans to hit Eckerts with them when they leave on Sunday and possibly meet up there with the Turners. Hopefully we can all coordinate plans as we'd love to join the Turners in their fall tradition of visiting Eckerts.
