Last night was our first Halloween night on Brownell Avenue! Local tradition dictates that kids that are old enough must tell a joke or do a trick to get their treat! Most kids told jokes or riddles, while younger ones like Adam just said Happy Halloween!" or "Trick or Treat!" Emily had a rotation of 3 jokes:
1. What is a witches favorite dessert? I SCREAM!
2. What is a ghosts favorite pie? BOO Berry!
3. Why is 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 8 9 (Seven ATE Nine!)
While we missed trick or treating in the old neighborhood with Janet, Robert, Jennifer and Rob and all the kids, we had a nice time with all our new friends. The kids came home with a lot of good candy!
