Any ideas?

On how this happened? I have my engagement ring and wedding band soldered together. I occasionally wear just a wedding band as well.

I noticed the other day that my wedding band felt funny. I took it off and discovered that it had been bent into an oval shape! Here's picture of my rings. the one on the left is my band the set is on the right. (Sorry for the bad quality picture!)

Any ideas on how that happened? If you know me, you know I never wear my rings at home, only when I go out. So, what could I have hit hard enough to bend it that badly??? I tried bending it back with my hands and couldn't do it. I also don't remember hitting my hand hard to bend it like that!

Weird...aliens perhaps are messing with me???

My rings do the same thing. It's actually a good sign. The better quality the gold the more flexible it is. The heat from your body actually softens the gold which in turn causes it to reform. Or there really are aliens attacking us!!

Uh, so my engagement ring and band must be made of cheap gold! :)

I didn't mean that! When I took mine to a jeweler I asked him why it bent and that was his explanation. I'm sure your engagement ring is made of very good gold!!
