Snow, Continued...

I love snow! (Continous updates throughout the afternoon/night!)

We should have moved to Wisconsin or Minnesota. We like winter and love snow! If the correct job would have presented itself to either Paul or myself, we would have moved North in a heartbeat! But, we ended up in St. Louis instead where people tell us it doesn't really snow all that much.

Today, St. Louis is going to get 6-9 inches of snow. The TV is already running school closings and early dismissals. I thought I'd post hourly updates to see how the snow fall accumulates!

Story Time!

Adam's been going to story time at the local St. Louis County library. I think Adam enjoys it. I enjoy story time because I can sit in the back of the room and read a book!

Potty Update!

I call yesterday a success in terms of potty training! Adam was dry all day long - even after nap! He even went potty at school 4 times, and one was #2! I told Emily when she arrived home after school about Adam's day and she wrote him the following note.

The Terminator

Adam had his first eye appointment today at the recommendation of his pediatrician. The appointment went well with the Opthamologist finding that Adam is a little farsighted in one eye, but has no other issues with his eyes. We have a recheck in a year to look for any changes.

The assistant examining Adam ran some tests they use with kids. One test was asking Adam what animals (duck, cow, cat) or things (like a house, cup) he saw on the TV in the exam room. When they got to the duck, she said "What do you see Adam?" Adam answered "Ming Ming". The tech thought he didn't understand what she was asking. I told her that Ming Ming is the duck on the Wonder Pets cartoon! He did understand what she was asking!

The assistant then put dialating eye drops in Adam's eyes. Adam was not a fan of the eye drops! The receptionist gave Adam some sunglasses when we left to shade his eyes from the sun. He didn't like them so well, but he let me take a picture when we got home!

Basketball

Emily had 6 points today and played her best game yet. She grabbed quite a few rebounds, handled the ball well, and shot well. We're very proud of her hustle!
