Football!

Football officially started WEEKS ago, so this post is really late! But once again, Dad and his two wonderful kids assumed the football watching position to enjoy kick-off Sunday!

More Zoo!

Also while my mom was here, we took Adam to the zoo (again!).

Baby Tigers - they aren't so small anymore!

When my mom was here last, she brought some fish eyes (tuna to be exact) for the kids to look at per Adam's request. The security agency in Fort Lauderdale got a kick out of mom's eyeballs. The eyes had to go through security two times, but all checked out well! The kids had a lot of fun looking and exploring the eyes. I actually think Emily was more interested in the eyes than Adam was, which was surprising!

Zoo Fun!

Adam and I went to the zoo back in September on a beautiful day. As always, we enjoyed the hippos and elephants! The two newest elephants (less than 3 years old) were playing in the waterfall so that was something we dont' usually see!

Today was our first trip to the City Museum - what a great place!! We're all wiped out - time to watch the Bears and go to bed. Emily parts ways with 6 of her teeth tomorrow in preparation for braces - should be an interesting day...

It's Over!

So the marathon is over and it is back to our lives. We're still training for some races before the end of the year, but the training won't consume all of our time like marathon training did. I'm working on a post to recap my entire marathon experience which I hope to have done in the next week or two.

The working title of my post..."Draggin' Ass in Chinatown" (as you can see!)

Here are a few pictures from the day to tide you over...

Circus Time!

For my birthday, we took the kids to the Ringling Brothers circus. After walking through the PETA protesters (seriously, if those animals had opposable thumbs, don't you think they'd do the same thing to us?) we grabbed our hot dogs and sodas and took in the big show. I think each of us had different favorite acts, but mine was the elephants.

I think the best thing was watching the look on Emily and Adam's faces during the show. Here are a few pictures from the night...
