Story Time Craft Time

Adam and I attend story time at the local county library every Thursday. He surprisingly loves story time and will actually sit and listen to the stories. The library has craft day every season. We went last week to the Spring Craft day where Adam made an Easter Bunny Basket Banner, an umbrella, birdhouse and sheep. We had a fun and crafty morning!

Closed

Finally - just one house. We closed on the sale of our home in Springfield today - it's a relief that we won't have double mortgage, utility, and tax payments any longer. The new owners seem like nice people - they should fit into the neighborhood nicely.

Emily's 8th Year in Review

Emily's 8th year was one of many changes - a new house, new city, new school, and lots of great new friends.

Paul trekked to Bloomington this weekend to enjoy some (Kreidler) child free time with Jason and Karen. So on Saturday, the kids and I went to paint some pottery.

Both kids were very intent on painting their projects. Quite a mess was made, but we have a good time! Even I got to paint some tiles for the kitchen.

How odd is it that our best friends have birthdays back-to-back? Somewhere along the line we have figured out that they shared the Nursery at St. Margarets in Hammond, IN.

Anyways, hope you had a GREAT birthday in Colorado Lisa!
