Day Trip to St. Louis

We took a trip to St. Louis today to go to the Zoo and a few other favorite places. Adam is enjoying the Zoo much more these days, especially the train ride (his new saying is "All Aboard!") Emily pointed out all the male animals by saying "you know it's a boy because of that part that goes wobble wobble wobble."

Favorite Time of Day

A few pictures of my favorite time of the day. Lessons have been learned, bellies are full, baths have been taken, stories have been read, and kisses have been given. Now some time to get stuff done around the house!

Cubs 2, Sox 1

The Cubs receive 2 gift games due to the collapse of the White Sox bullpen. Gee, I wonder who taught them that trick. The Sox will sweep at the Cell to once again take the season series.

Jessica Comes to Springfield

Amy and I had a great time watching Jessica's band perform in the rotunda of the Capitol building at noon today. The band sounded great and we loved seeing her.

Breakfast with Mom

Today was breakfast with Mom at school. We are all thankful that the "incident" from last year was not repeated, and Mom remembered this year!
